Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not
disassemble the unit by yourself, if any
malfunction is detected or after it was
dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any
authorized service center from the con-
tact address list given in the warranty cer-
tificate and on the website www.vitek.ru.
•
To avoid damages, transport the unit in
the original package only.
•
Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of
reach of children and disabled persons.

USAGE IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK
SPACES IS PROHIBITED.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at
low temperature keep it for at least three
hours at room temperature before switch-
ing on.
–
Unpack the unit completely and remove
packaging materials that can prevent the
unit operation.
–
Check the unit for damages; do not use it
in case of damages.
–
Before plugging the clipper in for battery
charging, make sure that voltage of the
mains corresponds to the power adapter
operating voltage.
–
Charge the battery and lubricate the
blade block following the recommenda-
tions below.
– The unit is intended for operation with AC
system and 50 or 60 Hz frequency. The
unit does not need any additional settings
for operating with the required nominal
frequency.
The hair clipper can operate on the built-
in rechargeable battery or on the power
adapter.
Battery charging
–
Switch the hair clipper off, setting the
power switch (4) to the position «ON».
–
Insert the power adapter (12) cord plug
into the connection socket (6).
–
Place the hair clipper on a flat stable
surface.
–
Plug the power adapter (12) into the
mains socket, the charging indicator (5)
will light up.
–
Full charging of the battery takes
1.5 hours; when the battery is fully
charged, the indicator (5) will light up
green.
–
Full charging of the accumulator battery
is enough approximately for 1.5 hours of
continuous operation.
Note: - during the unit operation the indica-
tor (5) will be glowing green.
–
After the battery is charged, disconnect
the power adapter (12) from the mains
and remove the connector from the con-
nection socket (6), the charging indica-
tor (5) will go out.
WARNING:
–
Do not charge the battery at temperature
below +5°C and above +35°C.
–
If you haven’t used the unit for a month
or longer, charge the battery completely
before using the hair clipper.
–
Do not leave the unit connected to the
mains unattended.
LUBRICATING THE BLADE BLOCK
The blade block is consumable and is not
covered by the warranty.
The consumer should pay attention to the
condition of the cutting edges of the blade
block, as sharpening (polishing) of the cut-
ting edges is not covered by warranty.
–
Lubricate the blades (6) before and after
every use of the hair clipper with the oil
(11) supplied with the unit. Remove hair,
dust and other foreign objects from the
blades before every use.
