SAFETY MEASURES
Read this instruction manual careful-
ly before using the unit and keep it for
the whole operation period. Use the unit
according to its intended purpose only, as
it is stated in this user manual.
Mishandling the unit can lead to its break-
age and cause harm to the user or damage
to his/her property.
To avoid the hazard of electric shock,
fire and injury:
•
Before connecting the unit to the mains,
make sure that voltage specified on the
unit corresponds to your home mains
voltage.
•
Always unplug the unit, if you do not
use it.
•
Do not use the vacuum cleaner for col-
lecting of water or other liquids.
•
Do not use the power cord as a handle
for carrying the vacuum cleaner, do not
close the door if the power cord runs
through the doorway, do not let the
power cord come in contact with sharp
edges of furniture.
•
Place the unit as close to the wall as
possible to avoid damaging the unit in
case of dropping.
•
When unplugging the unit, do not pull
the power cord, hold the plug.
•
Do not touch the power plug with wet
hands.
•
Do not cover the unit outlets with any
foreign objects.
•
Keep hair, free hanging clothes, fin-
gers and other parts of your body
away from the vacuum cleaner suction
opening.
•
Close supervision is necessary while
cleaning the stair landings.
•
Do not use the vacuum cleaner for col-
lecting of such highly inflammable liq-
uids as gasoline and solvents, do not
use the unit in the places where such
liquids are stored.
•
Do not use the vacuum cleaner for col-
lecting water and other liquids, burning
or smoking cigarettes, matches, cin-
ders as well as fine dust, for example, of
plaster, concrete, flour or ashes.
•
Do not use the vacuum cleaner, if
the cloth filter and foam filter are not
installed in the dust bin.
•
Make sure regularly that the power
cord and the plug are not damaged.
Do not try to repair the unit by yourself.
Contact an authorized service center for
all repair issues.
•
For children safety reasons do not leave
polyethylene bags, used as a packag-
ing, unattended.
•
Attention!
Do not allow children to play
with polyethylene bags or film.
Danger
of suffocation!
•
Never allow children to use the unit as
a toy. Close supervision is necessary
when children or disabled persons are
near the operating unit.
•
This unit is not intended for usage by
children or disabled persons unless they
are given all the necessary and under-
standable instructions by a person who
is responsible for their safety on safety
measures and information about danger
that can be caused by improper usage
of the unit.
