C.4.2 Radio Page - Standard
The standard Radio Page is show in Figure C-9. This is the page
that displays when you click on the
Radio
tab.
You will use the Radio Page to define settings for each of the 9
available Presets. For each Preset you can:
• Enter custom
Preset Text
for that Preset (12
alphanumeric characters maximum).
• Select the
Operation Mode
. The choices are:
- MPEG CV Out
The output of the RX is digital MPEG composite
video+audio.
- ASI Output
The output of the RX is digital ASI data.
- SDI Output
The output of the RX is digital SDI data.
- Ext IF
The output of the RX is 70 MHz IF with no
demodulation applied.
- FM CV Out
The output of the RX is analog composite video with
audio subcarriers.
• Select the
IF Filter
. The choices are:
- Analog
Use the Analog filter for analog operation.
- Digital
Use the Digital filter for digital operation.
• Enter a value for the
Squelch
level. The choices are:
- Numerical values from -65 to -95 dB.
- “N” for no squelch.
Note that the Squelch setting is only available in
analog operating modes (
Operation Mode
set to Ext
IF or FM CV Out).
Note also that the “Force Squelch” option is available
only via the RX front panel, and is not available in the
Configurator.
• Select what signal appears at the
Monitor Output
connector. Choices are:
- 70 MHz IF
The 70 MHz IF signal before it enters the demodulator
(either analog or digital).
- ASI
The digital ASI output of the COFDM demodulator.
Note that the ASI Monitor Output setting is only
available in digital operating modes (Operation Mode
set to MPEG CV Out, ASI Output, or SDI Output).
In analog operating modes, this setting defaults to 70
MHz IF.
Auto-disable
When you choose the Operating Mode, the
Configurator automatically enables or disables other Tabs,
Pages, Buttons, and individual choices to correspond to that
Operating Mode.
