CHAPTER 5: PART REPLACEMENT GUIDE

5.21 Drive Axle Set Replacement

5) Use a mallet to hit the nuts on the axle until the drive axle assembly is loose in the frame and remove it (Figures E & F).

6) Use a mallet with a punch to hit the remained bearing until it is removed from frame (Figure G & H).

NOTE:

The bearings on the drive axle cannot be re-used after removal of the drive axle assembly.
