* To delete all of the songs on a disk, proceed as follows:
1) Insert the disk to be deleted.
2) While holding PAUSE, press ERASE then REC.
At the end of the operation all the songs on the disk will be deleted.
* To enable or disable the protection of an individual song on a disk, against
accidental deletion proceed as follows:
1) While holding ERASE also press SONG <.
2) Run through the song numbers until you reach the one that you want to
protect and then release the keys (the display will show "Pr" - "protect"
preceded by S (Song Protected) or N (No Protected).
3) Change protection status with the REW and FF buttons.
4) Press REC to confirm.
5) Press STOP to exit this function.
* To protect all of the songs on a disk against accidental deletion all at once,
proceed as follows:
1) While holding ERASE, also press FF.
2) The display will show "Run", "operation in progress".
At the end of the operation, all the songs on the disk will be protected.
* If total protection of all songs (see 5.8) has been performed on a disk, this
can be removed as follows:
1) While holding ERASE, also press REW.
2) The display will show "Run" - "operation in progress".
At the end of the operation, protection of all the songs on the disk will have
been removed.
