Above is a
photo of a new spray tip for the
Viper XPT pretreatment
machine.
Close Up of Spray Tip Orifice:
Here
is a clean and healthy spray tip
orifice. Notice how it is crisp and
sharp.
Polymer Stuck in Orifice of Tip:
You can
see above there is a small piece of
pretreatment polymer stuck in the
orifice opening of the tip. This will cause
an erratic spray pattern.
Bottom of Spray Tip:
Here you
can see the bottom side of a
new spray tip.
Close Up of Inside of a Clean Tip:
This is a close up photo of the inside
of a clean tip. There is no wear or
contaminants seen.
Polymer Stuck in Inside of Tip:
Here you
can see a polymer chunk stuck in the
inside side of the orifice. This will cause
a “bad” spray pattern.
