6.3 Enable PtP functionality
After the
Chapter 4.4 ‘Hardware configuration - CPU’ on page 65
of the CPU you can
set the parameters of the CPU in the virtual IO device
‘VIPA SLIO CPU’
.
1.
Open the properties dialog by a double-click at
‘VIPA SLIO CPU’
.

The VIPA specific parameters may be accessed by means of the properties
dialog.
2.
Select at
‘Function X3’
the value
‘PTP’
.
3.
Save and transfer your project to the CPU.
ð
After a short boot time the interface X3 MPI(PtP) is ready for PtP communica-
tion.
