Control device with three rocker switches and MASTER dimmer actuator 230
V~ 50 Hz for incandescent lamps 40-300 W, electronic transformers 40-200
VA, CFL 10-120 W, LED lamps 3-120 W, fuse, to be completed with inter-
changeable buttons with 1 or 2 modules - 3 modules.
Device provides a synchronism signal to SLAVE dimmers (max 3) and can directly control the
load. Device to be used as three single buttons or one single and one double, depending on the
button chosen. The buttons can be configured independently from the SLAVE dimmer piloting
portion too. The buttons can be pressed both at the top and at the bottom.
IMPORTANT: Lamps controllable from a single master or slave dimmer must all be the
same. All controllable loads must be declared DIMMERABLE by the manufacturer. Check
the type of compatible dimmering on the lamp package: LE (Leading Edge) or TE (Trailing
Edge). If it is not specified, the lamp can operate in both modes (chosen at the discretion
of the installer).

• MASTER function: paying attention not to exceed maximum power controllable by each
dimmer. A MASTER device can have up to 3 universal SLAVE dimmers (art. 01871, 20137,
14137, 19137, 16604) for a maximum total load of 1800 W (VA) corresponding to 500 W/VA
max connected to each of the 3 SLAVE dimmers and 300W to the master dimmer

Not compatible with By-me control panels with 2 modules and flush-mounted (art.
20510, 16950 and 14510).
CONFIGURATION.
FOR THE OPERATIONS OF INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION, SEE THE BY-ME
SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL ATTACHED TO THE CONTROL UNIT.
Configuration must be done with the device without the key to be able to press the central
configuration button.
• Functional units: 4 (3 buttons, 1 dimmer actuator), each functional block can belong to at most
4 groups.
• Selection of the functional unit in the configuration phase:
- Press the configuration button and wait for 3s to select the dimmer functional unit;
- Press the configuration button and then the desired button to select
the relevant button functional unit.
The configuration starts when the red LED comes on and ends when it goes out.
When the device is not configured, the actuator is controlled by the left-hand button.

• If the device must be configured as a double and one single button you must:
- Press the left button if you want the double button on the left;
- Press the middle button if you want the double button on the right.
It is recommended to configure the device with the load OFF.
INSTALLATION RULES.
Installation should be carried out in compliance with the current regulations regarding the instal
-
lation of electrical systems in the country where the products are installed.
• The lamps connected to the master or slave must all be the same.
• Not suitable for controlling motors (e.g. fans, ventilators).
• The rated power level should never be exceeded.
• If installing 2 dimmers in a single box, the loads that can be controlled by each dimmer must be reduced
so that their total does not exceed the maximum power that can be controlled by a single device.
• Overloading, power surges and short-circuits may irreparably damage dimmers. Before
installation check the circuit carefully and eliminate any of the above causes.
• The dimmer does not have a mechanical circuit breaker in the main circuit and so is not
galvanically separated. The circuit load should be considered always powered.
