Actuator with 4 16 A 120-230 V~ change-over relay outputs,

controlling the fan-coil ,  installation on DIN rail (60715 TH35),

occupies 4 modules sized 17.5 mm.
CHARACTERISTICS.

• Rated supply voltage: BUS 29 V
• Input: 18 mA
• Changeover relay outputs
• Dissipated power: 6.5 W
• Controllable loads at 120-230 V~ (contacts NO):
- resistive loads:             16 A (20,000 cycles)
- incandescent lamps: 10 A (20,000 cycles)
- fluorescent lamps and energy saving lamps:  1 A (20,000 cycles)
- electronic transformers: 4 A (20,000 cycles)
- ferromagnetic transformers: 10 A (20,000 cycles)
• Controllable loads at 120-230 V~ (contacts NO and NC):
- motors cos ø 0.6: 3.5 A (100,000 cycles)
• Terminals:
- TP bus
- relay contacts: 4 (C, NC, NO)
• 4 modules of 17.5 mm.
•

The device can moreover be installed on walls, conduits, ceilings and false ceilings.

MANUAL MANAGEMENT

Pressing the manual button

enables using the buttons to actuate the relays. All the

messages from the bus are ignored. In normal operation, pressing the relay actuation
buttons is ignored.

CONFIGURATION.

FOR THE OPERATIONS OF INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION, SEE THE
By-me SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL ATTACHED TO THE CONTROL UNIT.

• Functional blocks: 4 (one for each relay); each block can belong to at most 4 groups
• Selecting the functional block (configuration): during group creation, when the control

unit requires pressing the device button:

- press the button once or more to select one of the 4 relays, the selected relay is

indicated by the respective  LED coming on;

- wait for the red LED to light up;
- with the red LED on, the control unit will configure the functional block; at the end of

this operation the red LED will go out.

PARAMETERS.

• one- or two-position stable operation;
• on delay and off delay: a value between 0 and 200 gives the time in seconds, a value

between 201 and 250 gives the time in minutes (for example 201 = 1 minute, 202 =
2 minutes, etc.);

Monostable operation.
On delay: delay in closing the NO contact of the relay from receiving the close command.
Off delay: time for which the relay has the NO contact closed.
Bistable operation.
On delay: delay in closing the NO contact of the relay from receiving the ON command.
Off delay: delay in opening the NO contact of the relay from receiving the OFF command.
If a group is created with a number of relays in one-position stable mode, set for all
the same on and off delays and do not insert any other types of actuator in the same
group; in this way, it is possible to have the status of the one-position stable relay
indicated on the control button. For special requirements it is possible to use the
group depth (for example to switch on two-position stable relays or dimmers with a
single button).
• Default parameters: relay set on two-position stable operation with null on and off delay.

SCENARIOS.

The actuator can belong to multiple scenarios and, for each one of them, save the
status to retrieve when activating the scenario. For further details see the control panel
manual.

FAN-COIL CONTROL.

In order to control the fan-coils the actuator 01851.2 must be associated with the
thermostat for the fan-coils 20513-16953-14513.

Setting the parameters of the actuator for controlling the fan-coil.

• ON delay: no ON delay
• OFF delay: no OFF
• Two-position stable operation: set two-position stable

Logical interblock.

In the actuator 01851.2 a 2 s delay is set in switching between the outputs 1, 2 and 3.

Connections for controlling the fan-coil.

If the actuator 01851.2 is used for controlling the fan-coil, the connections to be
made are the ones illustrated in figure 2.

INSTALLATION RULES.

Installation should be carried out in compliance with the current regulations regarding
the installation of electrical systems in the country where the products are installed.

The four relay outputs (out 1, out 2, out 3 and out 4) are separated from each
other by functional insulation at 250 V~ and not by double insulation; therefore,
for instance, do not connect a SELV circuit to an output adjacent to another one
connected to the power supply mains at 230 V~.

The relay output power circuit must be protected against overcurrents by installing
a device, a fuse with a rated breaking capacity of 1500 A or a type-C circuit brea-
ker, with rated current not exceeding 16 A. For further instructions, please refer to
the manual enclosed with the control panel.
