Maintenance and troubleshooting
The accessories must not be repaired and handled with care.
Do not position the foot/leg sleeves, armband, abdominal belt or
other accessories near direct or indirect sources of heat.
Do not position the device in humid or wet areas. Do not get the
device wet in any way; do not pour any liquid on top of the device.
Do not wash the device or its accessories with water or detergent.
Simply wipe with a damp cloth.
Do not store the device with its accessories in a particularly cold
area or under a temperature of 0° C. The device could seriously be
damaged.
Do not use the device for long periods of time, thereby putting it
away in its own box.
Use environment and care
• Use and maintain the device and its accessories in a clean place having a temperature ranging
between 10 – 40 °C, humidity 30 – 85%;
• Do not use in outside environments.
Problem encountered Possible solution
The device does not turn on. • Check to ensure the correct connection to the electric mains;
• Check that the switches been switch to ON (black ON/OFF
switch). It is the switch located on the side of the unit;
• Check the status of the conductors of the power cable. It must
be intact.
You hear strange hits similar to
that of outgoing air.
• Check to ensure that the hoses, the accessories and the
connectors are intact.
• Check to ensure that all the connections (do the unit and to the
applicators) are inserted correctly.
• Check to ensure that the air connection is not been bent, pin -
ched or crushed.
The air doesn‘t reach the
applicators; there isn‘t enough
pressure.
• Check to ensure that the connection of the connectors to the
unit and to the applicators is correct.
• Check to ensure that the air connection tubes have not been
bent, pinched or crushed.
• Check to ensure the cuffs has occurred in a progressive and
stable way depending on the programme selected.
The air continues to enter into
the cuffs and you feel a loss of
air in the applicators.
• Check for holes or damage in the air cuffs of the applicators.
If no abnormalities are present, switch off the device, turn it
on again to check again to ensure that is functioning properly.
