clutch system. When the engine is running the blades start to move when
the lever is pressed down. The machine moves forward and the blades start
working the ground.
8.
Stop the machine by putting the throttle control in the "stop" position.
About rotavating
Set the engine to a convenient speed. The highest speed is not always the best
choice. The correct working depth is decisive for how easily the work can be
done. The optimum working depth varies in relation to the soil conditions. The
best results are achieved when running 3-4 times in different directions. Never
run the machine in wet soil. This creates lumps that are difficult to break up.
Hard and dry soil requires making a second run, at right angles to the first.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
Before doing any form of maintenance on the machine, disconnect the
spark plug lead from the spark plug. Otherwise there is a risk of serious
personal or fatal injury.
Adjusting the clutch wire
1.
Undo the nuts (B and C).
2.
Adjust the engagement of the clutch
with the screw (A). When the gear shift
is not activated the blades should stand
still. When the gear shift is activated the
blades should rotate at full power.
3.
Tighten the nuts (B and C).
Changing the oil
IMPORTANT: Change the oil in the engine
every year.
Remove the oil filler cap and fill up with oil.
Check that the level is correct by screwing in
the oil plug with dipstick, removing it again
and checking the level. The correct level is at
MAX on the dipstick.
