SAFETY WARNINGS
Warning! Please, read all the safety warnings and instructions.
Not adhering to the warnings and instructions may lead to electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
Keep the instructions for future use.
The term ‘power tool’ in
the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1)
WORKSPACE SAFETY
a)
Keep the workspace clean and well lit.
Untidy and poorly lit workspace may contribute to
an accident.
b)
Do not use the power tool in an explosive environment, for example near flammable
liquids, gases and dust.
The power tool produces sparks that can ignite dust or vapors.
c)
Keep children and other persons at a safe distance while using the power tool.
Disturbance during work may cause the loss of control of the device.
2)
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
a)
Power tool plugs must match the outlets. Do not modify the plugs in any way. Do not
use adapters for grounded power tools.
Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will
reduce the risk of electric shock.
b)
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cooking stoves,
refrigerators, etc.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is grounded.
c)
Do not expose the power tool to rain or moisture.
If water penetrates the device, the risk
of electric shock increases.
d)
Do not mishandle the power cable. Never use the cable to transport the device, or to
pull or remove the plug from the outlet to turn the device off. Keep the cable away from
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts of the device.
Entangled or damaged cable
increases the risk of electrical shock.
e)
When using the power tool outdoors, use extension cords designed for outdoor use.
The use of an appropriate extension cord designed for outdoor use reduces the risk of
electric shock.
f)
If operating the power tool at a wet location cannot be avoided, use the circuit breaker
device (residual-current device - RCD).
The use of a residual-current device reduces the
risk of electric shock.
