c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from
one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or fire.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek
medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
e) Using an attachment and charger not recommended may result in a risk of fi re, electric
shock, or injury to people.
f) The charging device and the Screwdriver must be protected from moisture!
g) Do not use the charging device outdoors.
h) Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
i) Rotating parts are dangerous! Do not touch them.
j) This machine is not suitable for use by chilrdren.
k) Keep children, pets and bystanders on safe distance while operating.
l) Do not use this device near windows.
m) Pay attention on time of usage to avoid damage caused by vibration or hearing damage.
n) Wear eye and ear protection.
o) These machines are extremely noisy and requiere usage of ear protection.
p) If there’s a blockage, turn the device off, remove the battery and safely remove the cause
of blockage.
CHARGING THE BATTERY
WARNING: The charger and battery pack are specifically designed to work together so do
not attempt to use any other devices. Never insert or allow metallic objects into your charger
or battery pack connections because an electrical failure and hazard will occur.
Your battery pack is UNCHARGED and you must charge once before use. The charger is
designed to use standard household 230 Volt 50Hz power.
1. Connect the battery charger to the power point. The red LED on the charger goes on. Align
the guide slots on the battery to the slots on the charger and firmly push in the battery until
it clicks in place. The battery is shaped so that it can only fit one way in the charger. This
connects the positive (+) and negative (-) terminate correctly. When the battery is put in the
charger the green LED goes on and starts flashing.
This indicates that the battery is charging. At the same time the red LED on the charger
starts flashing briefly before remaining constantly.
2. The battery is fully charged when the green LED stops flashing and remains constantly
green. The red LED will then go off. It takes about one hour to charge a fully discharged
battery. It will go quicker if the battery is only partially discharged.
