1)
The working pressure of the tank can’t exceed the maximum working pressure; the
user is responsible for problems resulted from over maximum working pressure.
2)
The tank is used for oil lubricated air compressor.
3)
The tank is an important part of an air compressor. The air compressor can’t operate
until all required components are assembled, especially safety components. Safety
valve must be tested before the air compressor can operate normally.
4)
The tank must have at least one safety valve installed. Before installation, the safety
valve must be inspected by qualified company. During the lifetime of the tank, safety
valve must be tested at least once a year to prevent it from getting rusted.
5)
The tank must have a pressure gauge installed on the tank. The measured pressure
must range from 1.5 to 3 times of the designed pressure.
6)
The user must keep a record of safety information of the tank, including regular
maintenance. When there is any abnormal situation, it must be reported to and
inspected by an organization with special inspection instrument.
7)
All the tank recommend service life is not more than 7 years. After the lifetime is
reached, the tank shall not be used unless it’s inspected by a qualified organization
with special inspection instrument for tanks, and approved for continuous use.
8)
The tank must be placed on leveled ground. This will prevent the welded joint from
cracking due to extra vibration of the tank.
9)
The tank shell can’t be impacted or pressured by unusual force or load.
10)
The tank shall not be in direct contact with corrosive material or operate in corrosive
environment.
11)
The water release valve must be open regularly to release water in the tank to
prevent the tank from getting rusted.
12)
After the tank is in operation, there shall not be any welding or repair applied on the
body of the tank. No welding operations are to be carried out on pressurized parts
of the vessel.
