Test
NFPA-72 and CAN/ULC-S537 code require a calibrated
sensitivity test upon completion of the original installation and
following any modifications or additions to the system. The
detector can perform this test and generate a system
sensitivity report.
To test the detector:
1. Before initial testing, remove the dust cover from the
detector and notify the proper authorities that the fire
alarm system is undergoing maintenance and will be
temporarily out of service.
2. Test the detector for proper operation using a heat gun
maintaining a six-inch minimum. Use caution as excess
heat can damage the detector and detector housing.

Fonctionnement
Le détecteur de la chaleur de la fixe-température, V-HFD est
un appareil analogique intelligent qui comporte un capteur de
chaleur fixe de 57°C (135°F) capable de détecter la chaleur
dégagée par un incendie. Le capteur de chaleur surveille la
température de l’air ambiant et détermine si une alarme devrait
être déclenchée ou non. Le détecteur peut effectuer des
autodiagnostics complets et consigner les résultats.
Fonctionnement à électrode luminescente (DEL)
Le détecteur comporte un voyant DEL bicolore qui indique son
statut.
Normal : le voyant DEL vert clignote
Alarme activée : le voyant DEL rouge clignote
Adressage électronique
Le panneau de commande assigne automatiquement une
adresse aux détecteurs. Des adresses personnalisées peuvent
être assignées aux détecteurs au moyen d’un ordinateur
portatif. Aucun commutateur d’adresse n’est utilisé.

Ce détecteur ne fonctionne pas sans courant électrique.
