6.1.1
Zone Configuration
This section explains the zone configuration. This is applicable to all zones in GDS. Consider Zone 1 configuration.
After entering in the
Zone 1
sub menu using ENTER key, LCD displays as shown below.
Use
LEFT
and
RIGHT
keys to scroll sub menu of ZONE 1 configuration. After changing the
modes, press
ENTER
key to save the changes.
Each zone can be configured for any one of the three modes namely,

ENABLE:
This is default mode in which system scans the input signal from Gas detectors, heat detectors,
etc. If Gas is detected, then system indicates alarm condition. If any zone is detected as open, system
indicates fault condition.
2.
WALK TEST:
This mode is used for system walk test. Before walk test, the zone must be configured as
Walk Test mode. If Gas alarm condition occurs, then the system indicates as a
WT-ALARM
. If any zone is
open, then system indicates WT OPEN. (WT means Walk Test)
3.
DISABLE:
This mode is used to disable the zone. The system does not scan the input signal from Gas
detectors, heat detectors, etc.
Similar functioning is applicable to Zone 2, 3 & 4 configurations.

NAC
After entering in the
NAC
configuration
sub menu using ENTER key, LCD will show below screen,
Use
LEFT
and
RIGHT
keys to
ENABLE/DISABLE
NAC output. After changing the mode,
press
ENTER
key to save the changes.
6.1.3
NAC Auto Silence
NAC auto silence feature is used to SILENCE the siren automatically after completing pre define time. If NAC auto
silence feature is set as a DISABLE at that time SIREN will not be OFF till panel RESET.
Use
LEFT
and
RIGHT
keys to
ENABLE/DISABLE
NAC output. After changing the mode,
press
ENTER
key to save the changes. By default it is set as ENABLE mode.
