
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
(to be read before operating the heater)
1. Do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly attached.
2. Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the heater is plugged is in accordance
with the rating label on the heater and that the socket is earthed.
3. Keep the power cord away from the hot body of the heater.
4. Warning: Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower
or a swimming pool. Do not operate this product with wet hands.
5. Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
6. Indoor use only.
7. Do not place the heater on carpets having a very deep pile.
8. Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level surface.
9. Do not place the heater close to curtains or furniture in order to avoid a fire hazard.
10. Warning: heater is not located immediately below a socket-outlet.
11. Use this product only in vertical position.
12. Do not insert any object through the heat outlet or air grilles of the heater.
13. Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable
fumes may be present. It is not suitable for outdoor use and use in dusty environment.
14. Always unplug the heater when moving it from one location to another or if the device is not in use.
15. Warning: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
engineer or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
16. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
17. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
18. Do not leave the device turned on unsupervised!
19. Do not cover - to prevent possible overheating of the heater!
OPERATION OF THE HEATER
NOTE: it is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time or when they are turned on after having
not been the heater has been on a short while.
Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking into account the safety instructions above. It should be at
least 50 cm away from furniture or any flammable object. It should also be at least 90 cm away from objects,
which can be deformed by heat.
Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable socket.
Turn the thermostat knob fully in a clockwise direction to the maximum setting (II).
Turn the fan using rocket switch.
When the desired room temperature has been reached, the thermostat knob should be turned slowly until
the indicator turns off.
After that the radiator will keep the temperature in the room at the same level by turning on and off the radiator.
You will heat up the room faster with fan turned on.
In it is minimum (fully anti-clockwise) position the thermostat provides a frost guard position, in this position
(depending on the size of the room) the heater will maintain the temperature above freezing.
Fan can be switched on independently of the heating elements.
Fan operation: This is operated by means of the switch with the fan symbol along side it. The fan will only
operate with the thermostat in the “on” position and can be used when the heating elements are “on” to
blow warm air into the room. In warm conditions the fan can be used with the heating elements “off” to
blow cool air into the room.
When you turn on the device for the first time or after longer time of no use, you can smell unpleasant
smell or the product can make small amount of smoke. It is normal and both smell and smoke will
disappear after a moment.
