No power

• Make sure A/C power cord is securely connected to the AC/DC adapter

supplied with the ViewPanel

®

, then connected to a power outlet.

• Plug another electrical device (like a radio) into the power outlet to verify

that the outlet is supplying proper voltage.

• Make sure the video cable supplied with the ViewPanel is tightly secured to

the video output port on the back of the computer.

• Adjust brightness and contrast.
• Macintosh

adapter. Verify that the settings on the adapter are adjusted correctly.

Screen image with horizontal "noise" or unclear characters
• Adjust the CLOCK PHASE control (see page 8).

"Outside Range Limits" message appears
• Verify that the output from your computer's video card is within operating

range: a  refresh rate (vertical frequency) between 56 and 75 Hertz, and a
resolution of 1024 x 768 or lower.  See the table on page 10 for supported
timing modes.

"Check Signal Cable" message appears
• If this message appears, check to make sure the video signal cable is

securely connected. Also check for Loose or broken pins in the cable

be lit amber.

• If the "Power Saving Mode" message briefly appears and the power LED is

lit amber, the ViewPanel is functioning normally.
