Care and Safety Tips

7 Replace the air filter cover. Slide the air filter cover into the projector until the clamps on the air filter

cover are aligned with the clamp holes in the projector.

NOTE

Be sure to install the air filter cover before using the projector. If the projector is used without the air
filter, dust and other foreign particles will be drawn into the projector, resulting in malfunctions.

If the dust cannot be removed by cleaning, it is time to replace the air filter. Contact ViewSonic

Customer Support and order a replacement air filter.

Clean the air filter and the air filter clamps. Use a vacuum cleaner to clean off any accumulated dust.

6 Install the air filter and the air filter clamp onto the air filter cover. Place the air filter inside the air filter

cover, and then return the air filter clamps to their original position as shown below.
