Alternativ kann das Signal auch in Fahrtrichtung vor dem planmäßi-
gen Haltepunkt des Zuges montiert werden. Da der Zug erst durch
das Abfahrsignal den Fahrauftrag erhält, sollte der Fahrstrom erst
dann dem isolierten Gleisabschnitt am Bahnsteig zugeführt werden,
wenn das Abfahrsignal aufleuchtet. Dies kann durch die Verwendung
unseres zweipoligen Kippschalters (Art. 6835) oder des Universal-
Ein-Aus-Umschalters (Art. 5550) erreicht werden.
3. Einbau
- Nehmen Sie Ihr neues Viessmann Signal sorgfältig aus der
Verpackung.
- Prüfen Sie vor dem Einbau des Signals die Funktion, indem Sie
das Abfahrsignal probeweise entsprechend der Anleitung an den
Modellbahntrafo anschließen.
- Zur Montage des Signals bohren Sie am vorgesehenen Standort
des Signals ein Loch mit einem Ø von 3,5 mm und stecken es
mit den Anschlussdrähten voran in die Bohrung (Abb. 1).
- Schließen Sie das Signal an den Trafo bzw. Schalter gemäß Abb. 3
an.
4. Anschluss
Vorsicht:
Der Widerstand und Diode am Ende der Anschlusskabel sind für
die Funktion des Signals erforderlich. Sie dürfen nicht entfernt
werden (Abb. 2)!
Der Widerstand darf nicht mit Isolationsmaterial umhüllt werden,
da er sonst keine ausreichende Kühlung erhält!
Verwenden Sie nur kurzschlusssichere Stromquellen!

Alternatively the signal can be put in direction of the train in front of
the stopping point of the train. As the train is only ordered to start
by the departure signal, the power should be supplied to the iso-
lated track on the platform only when the signal is lighting up. We
recommend to use our 2-pole rocker switch, item 6835 or universal
on-off-toggle switch, item 5550.
3. Mounting
- Remove your new Viessmann signal carefully from the packaging.
- Check the function before the installation of the signal, by starting
the signal for a test. According to the manual, connect the signal
to the transformer.
- For mounting the signal please drill a hole with a diameter of 3.5 mm
in the allocated position of the signal and insert it with the connection
wires in front into the drilling (fig 1).
- Connect the signal to the transformer or switch according to fig. 3.
4. Connection
Caution:
The resistance at the end of the connection wire is necessary for
the function of the signal. Do not remove (fig. 2)!
Do not cover the resistor with isolation material resulting in insuf-
ficient cooling.
Only use short-circuit-proof power source.
