1. Important information

Please read this manual completely and attentively before 

using the product for the first time. Keep this manual. It is part 

of the product. 

1.1 Safety instructions

Caution:

Risk of injury!

Due to the detailed reproduction of the original and the in-

tended use, this product can have peaks, edges and break-

able parts. For installation tools are required.

Electrical hazard!

Never put the connecting wires into a power socket! Regu-

larly examine the transformer for damage. 

In case of any damage, do not use the transformer.
Make sure that the power supply is switched off when you 

mount the device and connect the cables!
Only use VDE/EN tested special model train transformers 

for the power supply!
The power sources must be protected to prevent the risk of 

burning cables.

1.2 Using the product for its correct purpose

This product is intended:
-  For installation in model train layouts and dioramas.
-  For connection to an authorized model train 

transformer (e. g. item-No. 5200) or a digital command 

station.

-  For operation in dry rooms only. 
Using the product for any other purpose is not approved and is 

considered incorrect. The manufacturer is not responsible for 

any damage resulting from the improper use of this product.

1.3 Checking the package contents 

Check the contents of the package for completeness:
-  Fire engine
-  Blinking electronics
-  4 plugs
-  2 screws
- Manual

2. Mounting 

Check function before installation.
Drill a hole (Ø 5 mm) at the mounting place.
Insert the connecting cable from above through the hole  

(fig. 1).
Attach the blinking electronics underneath the mounting plate.

3. Connection

For connection, refer to the enclosed manual of the blinking 

device.

4. Changing the bulb

You will find a suitable replacement bulb in the Viessmann 

range under item-No. 3506.

4.1 Change of  front and rear lighting

Carefully pull the black cable guide out of the brass tube with 

the bulb at the bottom. Hold on to the tube and not the vehicle 

(fig. 2)!
Replace the bulb as shown in fig 2. 
Pay attention to the prescribed cable length.

4.2 Replacing the blue lamps

Carefully remove the vehicle floor from the body (fig. 3).
Carefully remove the light guide from the body (fig. 4).
Remove the blue light holder (fig. 5).
With a pair of pliers you can grip the cables of the bulb approx. 

1 mm below the base and push the bulb upwards (fig. 5, 6). 

Follow up briefly. You can also push the bulb upwards with a 

stepped mandrel Ø 1 mm.

Attention!

 

When installing the new incandescent bulb not from below 

pull the cables, but push the lamp carefully with a soft object 

(rubber) from above into the base.

Reassembly in reverse order.
