6.2.8 Hard Disk management (optional)
This section describes how to manage and display the specifications for the (optional) hard
disk).
OVERWRITE ENABLE: enables/disables overwriting of the hard disk when it is completely
full. If this function is enabled the earliest recorded data will be overwritten by current data. If
the function is disabled, recording will stop when the disk is full.
HDD FULL WARNING: this function regulates the warning for low remaining memory, when
the setting is reached the appliance will display the alarm message “HDD FULL”.
The values for the amount of remaining memory can be chosen from: 5%, 10%, 15% or
20%.
MASTER HDD CAPACITY: displays the total capacity of the primary disk (cannot be
modified).
MASTER HDD LEFT RATIO: displays the remaining capacity on the primary disk (cannot be
modified).
MASTER HDD FORMAT: when this function is selected the contents of the primary disk will
be deleted.
In order to completely delete the data it is necessary to key in the correct password (use
keys (5),(6),(7),(8) to enter the password).
The display will show the message “HARD DISK FORMATTED” to confirm deletion of all
data.
SLAVE HDD CAPACITY: displays the total capacity of the secondary disk (cannot be
modified).
SLAVE HDD LEFT RATIO: displays the remaining capacity on the secondary disk (cannot
be modified).
SLAVE HDD FORMAT: when this function is selected the contents of the secondary disk will
be deleted.

The display will show the message “HARD DISK FORMATTED” to confirm deletion of all
data.
