Installation
1. This hood need to be supported from a solid structural box
made of 2x4 or 2x6. ( Fig 6)

The wood frame needs to be above the drywall ceiling, the metal frame - below.

You need to attach the hood frame to the wooden box above it using wood screws in the 4 corners.
SAFETY WARNING:
Risk of electrical shock. this range hood must be properly grounded. Make sure this is done
by qualified electrician in accordance with all applicable national and local electrical codes. Before connecting wires,
switch power off at service panel and lock service panel to prevent power from being switched on accidentally.

Connect the range hood to a designated standard outlet or cut off the plug and connect three wires (black, white and
green) to house wires and cap with wire connectors. Connect according to colors (i.e. black to black, white to white, and
green to green) as shown in Figure 8.
