INSTALLING BATTERIES
You need six AA batteries (not supplied) to power your detector.
Cautions:

Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended type.
⚫
Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or
rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
1.
If the detector is on, turn VOLUME on the control housing) to OFF. (The control clicks.)
2.
Press on the battery compartment cover and slide the cover off in the direction of the arrow.
3.
Insert the batteries into the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside
