Starting & Stopping

Starting – Non-Primer Engines:
1.

Push the throttle control to the START/RUN position.

Firmly hold the starter handle and pull the starter slowly until resistance is felt, then pull

the cord rapidly.

The engine should start after a couple of attempts.

Return the starter handle gently. Do not allow the starter handle to fly back and strike

the engine cowling as damage may result.

To stop the engine, move the throttle control to the stop position.
