Note:
Failure to follow the power on sequence may result in an alarm to
sound. No action is required as alarm will self clear.
d. Power on DVR or NVR units in accordance with the procedures in
the unit’s manual. A Delay Run indication may display on the
monitor. This is normal and will disappear when the ViconNet
system is ready.
5. Check the VN-SAN to DVR or NVR connection by navigating to My
Computer and verifying that the VN-SAN RAID drives are present.
Note:
When using the VN-SAN with an NVR/Workstation, ViconNet will open
as a Viewer and the unit will have to be registered. Refer to NVR and
ViconNet documentation for registration instructions. Kollectors are pre-
registered and will be immediately ready to use.
6. Check the ViconNet connection to the DVR or NVR as follows:
a. Start ViconNet and from the ViconNet Main window, click Setup.
The Setup Site Selection window displays.
