2. VIDEO IN (CH2, CH3, CH4)
Receives input from maximum of 3 video image signals.
3. ETHERNET (Network Port)
Connects to Internet, Ethernet (10Base-T/100Base-T)
4. ALARM (Alarm Input) and AUDIO (Microphone)
This RJ-45 connector provides 4 sensor inputs and 1 microphone input to the camera/server. A Telco
box and RJ-45 connector cable can be purchased separately as accessory kit Model No. VN-755IP-KIT,
product code 8775.
To connect each sensor:
1.
Plug one end of the RJ-45 cable into the ALARM connector on the rear of the camera. Plug the
other end into the RJ-45 connector on the Telco box. Refer to Figure.
2.
Using a twisted pair cable (one for each sensor to be connected) as defined in
Twisted-Pair Cable
Recommendations, prepare a 2-conductor type cable by stripping the ends back for use.
3.
Connect each sensor wire to the required sensor connection(s) in the Telco box
(for example,
SENS 1
).
4.
Connect the other sensor wire to the GND connector.
