Scratches or other surface blemishes in the dome
material that are located in the viewing area may
possibly be removed by applying a nonabrasive wax
to the affected area with a soft cleaning cloth. Ex-
treme care must be taken to prevent wax contact
with the transition and painted areas of the dome to
prevent removal of paint. Again, after waxing, re-
move dust or lint with clean, dry air.
CAUTION:
A
Excessive pressure or rubbing on the
dome’s surface can cause permanent scratches
that may render the dome unusable.
6.
Cleaning of the outer surface is accomplished with
any nonabrasive cleaning cloth and cleaning agent
that is safe for use on acrylic plastic. Either liquid
or spray cleaner/wax suitable for use on
furni-
ture is acceptable.
