Installation XX004 Rev 500 Surveyor2000 Pressurized Housing Camera Dome
Pipe Mount Method
Use this method to install, wire and
configure a pipe mounted unit. Refer to
Figure 8.
Installing the Pipe Mount
1. Select a suitable mounting location
and verify there is sufficient cable to
reach the end of the Pipe Mount
Mounting Flange.
Caution: Mount only to installed pipes
with sufficient strength and as
vertically level as possible.
2. Install a vertically hung 1-1/2 in. (38
mm) diameter NPT schedule 40 pipe.
3. Using the provided Teflon Tape, wrap
approximately 2 full turns around the
threads.
4. Place the Pipe Mount on the thread
and turn it clockwise, by hand, until it
fits snugly. Orient the Access Cover to
a convenient position.
5. Tighten the two set screws on the
neck of the mount using an
appropriate size Allen key.
