Prepared cables may or may not be supplied in the accessory pack, depending on the particular system configuration. If they are not in the
accessory pack, the pack will contain the necessary mating connectors to allow the installer to make his own cables. If the cables must be
assembled by the installer, connect pin 1 on the Primary system’s end of the cable to pin 1 on Secondary system’s end of the cable, pin 2 to pin 2,
and so forth.
Note: If you assemble the cables for these connections, note that the cables must be shielded using the connector shells.
Figure 2 illustrates connections between the two CI cards. Figure 3 shows connections between the CI cards and the V1400X-SSO Supervisor
module. If you have more than 1024 receivers, use Figure 4 to make connections between the V1400X-SSO-E and the CI cards. You may also
refer to Table 1.
