Users
User access control is enabled by default when the administrator sets the root password on
first access. New users are authorized with user names and passwords, or the administrator
can choose to allow anonymous viewer login to the Live View page, as described below:
•
User Setting:
Check the box to enable anonymous viewer login to the network camera
without a user account. When using the user account, users have to log-in at every
access.

WS-Security Setting:
Do not check this box to connect and monitor the network cam-
era through Vicons viewing software using drivers older than 935.
NOTE:
WS-Security is an open format for signing and encryption of message parts,
for supplying credentials in the form of security tokens, and for security passing
those tokens in a message.
•
User List Setting:
This section shows how to register a user account. Enter a user
name and password to be added, and register them by pressing the Add button. You
will see the pop-up window as below.
When the settings are complete, click
Save
button to save the settings, or click
Reset
button
to clear all of the information you entered without saving it.
