 turn off and unplug this product 

immediately after using.

DO NOT

 use while bathing.

DO NOT

 place or store product where it 

can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink. The 

appliance should always be placed on a 

firm, flat, waterproof and heat resistant 

surface. Be sure the appliance is in a stable 

position and the power cord is out of the 

way to prevent the appliance from being 

tipped over.

DO NOT

 place in or drop into water or  

other liquid.

DO NOT

 reach for a product that has fallen 

into water. Unplug immediately.

The product should never be left 

unattended when plugged in.

Close supervision is necessary when this 

product is used by, on, or near invalids.  

Keep out of reach of children.

Use this product only for its intended  

use as described in this manual.

damaged cord or plug, if it is not working 

properly, if it has been dropped or damaged

water if tilted, shaken or tipped over

block the air openings and vents 

of the product or place it on a soft surface,

openings and vents may be blocked. Keep 

the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.

drop or insert any object into any 

opening or vent.

Unplug this product before filling. Fill 

(reservoir) with water only unless otherwise 

specified by manufacturer. 

DO NOT 

overfill.

 

DO NOT 

fill with mask installed. Only pour 

water directly into Water Reservoir.

The appliance has a polarized plug (one 

blade is wider than the other) as a safety 

feature. This plug will fit into a polarized outlet 

only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into 

the outlet reverse the plug. If it still does not 

fit, contact a qualified electrician. 

DO NOT 

attempt to defeat this safety feature.

CAUTION: 

To avoid fire or shock 

hazard, plug the appliance directly into a 

120V AC electrical outlet.  

DO NOT 

use an  

extension cord or a power strip.

The appliance should always be unplugged 

and emptied when not in operation or while 

being cleaned. Shut off and unplug the 

appliance before moving. Plug and unplug 

appliance with dry hands. 

NEVER

 pull by 

the cord to unplug.

 touch skin with exposed Vicks

bedding or plastics.

DO NOT

 operate outdoors. This appliance  

is intended for indoor use.

 attempt to repair or adjust any 

electrical or mechanical functions on this 

appliance. Doing so will void your warranty.
