Remove: shoes, socks and any un-necessary clothing prior to stepping on the scale.
•
It is recommended that weight is checked two hours after getting out of bed.
•
If you have a metal implant an accurate reading will not be obtained.
•
This scale does not have any replaceable parts do not attempt to dissemble.
•
Do not stand on the edges of the scale to avoid falling off.
•
Never submerse the scale in water. Use an alcohol based cleaning agent to clean the
electrodes and a glass cleaner for the surface. Apply the cleaning agent to the cloth first,
not the glass surface or electrodes and avoid using soaps as this could make the glass
surface slippery.
•
Do not wear shoes when standing on the scale this can damage the two electrodes.
•
The warnings, precautions, in this instruction manual cannot cover all possible
conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that
common sense and caution are factors, which cannot be built into this product, but must
be supplied by the operator.

The appliance must not be used in potentially dangerous locations such as flammable,
explosive, chemical-laden or wet atmospheres where petrol or flammable liquids are
used or stored.

Never operate the appliance if it has malfunctioned or has been dropped or damaged in
