BNC Inputs and Outputs
BNC connectors are manufactured with 50Ω and 75Ω impedance capability. 50Ω
cables are typically used for this application. BNC inputs are typically used with
an accelerometer. Nominal ranging allows for maximum 20V peak input devices.
BNC output ranging allows driving maximum 10V peak devices or maximum 1V
peak devices.
Power Connectors
The VR9500 is powered by the AC internal power supply.
Internal Power Supply Connector
The VR9500 supports a single internal power supply to provide power for
switching operations. The AC power connector is located on the back panel of
the hardware.
Aux Inputs/Outputs
The DB37 mating connector is an Amphenol L777-RR-C-37-P (or equivalent).
Inputs are 10V peak inputs with provision to read nominal TTL signals. TTL
outputs 1 to 8 are nominal TTL voltage levels and require external conditioning to
drive high voltage and high current devices.
·
TTL output 1 to TTL output 8 HIGH voltage (active): 2.5V minimum at 3mA
source current; 2.0V minimum at 32mA source current
·
TTL output 1 to TTL output 8 LOW voltage (inactive): 0.55V maximum at 64mA
sink current
FET output 7 and FET output 8 allow driving high current SELV DC devices
directly.
·
FET output 7 and FET output 8 HIGH (active): sink up to 1.5A to logic ground
·
FET output 7 and FET output 8 LOW (inactive): floating output
