After the load level has been selected, you may set the values for TIME, DISTANCE,
CALORIES and PULSE by pressing the UP and DOWN buttons and then MODE to
confirm (FIGURE 15~18). Press the START button to begin training.
Training in User Program Mode
If USER PROGRAM is selected, you design your own program profile by pressing the UP,
DOWN and MODE buttons to edit each flashing column. There are 20 segments to set.
If you want to quit during setting, hold down the MODE button for 2 seconds to quit,
and the previous setting profile will be saved for any unfinished segments.
The machine will store the program for quick access when you want to perform it.
The program is also scalable, so as your fitness improves you can increase the resistance up
to the maximum level to keep yourself challenged whilst still doing your favourite workout.
Training in H.R.C Mode
Heart Rate Control mode allows you to train at different levels of optimum intensity.
The console system offers the following heart rate percentages: 55%, 75%, 90% and
TARGET which you can select using the UP and DOWN buttons. (FIGURE 19). The heart
rate percentage is based on the maximum level for the age which has been input into
the selected user profile. To perform this program you must wear a compatible chest
strap that pairs with the console. Once you begin the program, the machine will
automatically adjust the resistance to maintain your heart rate at the specified target.
