The following procedure describes the installation of the feed
mounting hardware, the Model 8118 4-Port Feed, and the
installation of the waveguide for this feed. If other feeds are
installed, they may require slightly different installation
instructions. Refer to the appropriate installation drawings or
instructions for installing other feeds and waveguides.

The following procedure describes the installation of the Model
8118 4-Port Feed.
INSTALLATION OF
FEED
1. Attach hoist to feed assembly and lift feed into center of hub area as
indicated in Figure 4-10.
2. Secure feed to mount using 16 screws (item 109 in Figure 4-10), 32
washers (item 111), and 16 nuts (item 110).
NOTE
The hardware is provided to install the LNA and WR-137
waveguide. Four holes are provided for mounting the LNA
package. Ports not used should be loaded.
3. Install the appropriate receive and transmit ports in accordance with
Figure 4-10, Sheet 1.
