4.4. PCI Slot
The onboard PCI slot supports 5V 32-bit PCI cards. It is not compatible with
PCI cards requiring 3.3V signaling. The PCI slot is located adjacent to the PCI
Express slot. Using the PCI slot will negate the use of the PCI Express slot
unless the optional PCIE-03 riser card module is used. The location of the PCI
slot is shown below.
The orientation of PCI cards can be changed from vertical to horizontal using a
riser card module. Compatible optional riser card modules include the
following models: EXT-PCI-01 and PCIE-03.
The EXT-PCI-01 module enables the PCI slot to support two PCI expansion
cards horizontally. The PCIE-03 module enables the PCI slot to support one
PCI card and one PCIe card horizontally. See page 89 for details on how to
install the riser card module.
