Sizing
The minimum pipe size between the heating boiler
and the storage tank should be at least the size of
the loading unit connections! It is recommended
that the pipe between the boiler and Termovar
be +1 dimension larger than the other piping,
preferably increasing towards the storage tank.
TERMOVAR LOADING UNIT is a
pre-fabricated, automatic loading unit
for solid-fuel boiler and storage tank
combinations. The loading unit ensures
a suitable return water temperature
throughout the loading process,
increasing system efficiency, prolonging
boiler lifetime and considerably reduces
tarring.
Termovar prevents “thermal shock” caused by too
cold return water in the initial stage of combustion
and thus ensures efficient combustion immediately
upon startup.
At the end of the combustion process, the
automatic control valve closes the bypass line to
fully charge the storage tank.
Termovar allows self circulation to recover residual
heat from the boiler. Even when a power failure
occurs, self circulation protects the equipment
from boiling and overpressure.
