CLEANING
• it is extremely important to remember that the cleaning of the kettle
can only be performed when the plug has been removed from the
socket
• never immerse any part of the kettle, especially a cord and a base
plate, into water
• cleaning should be performed when the kettle has already cooled
down
• always be sure that electrical connections of the kettle are remaining
absolutely dry
• clean the kettle with damp cloth; do not use any cleaning products,
which can cause damage to your health or decolorize the kettle
• ensure that the outside and the electrical connection parts of the kettle
are completely dry before succeeding uses
SAFETY NOTES AND IMPORTANT DETAILS
• always unplug the kettle in the following situations:
– before filling water
– before cleaning
– after use
– before pouring water out
– before the period in which the kettle will be left unattended
• do not unplug the kettle by pulling the supply cord
• never place the kettle in a tilt position
• keep the kettle out of reach of children
• always close lid tightly for avoiding scalds caused by splashing of
boiling water out
• never switch on the kettle when the water level is higher than the indi-
cated maximum level or lower than the minimum level; otherwise, this
will cause water spilling and damage heating element respectively
• though there is a thermal cut-off fuse for dry boil protection it will inevi-
tably damage the heating element; therefore, users should be aware the
water level in the kettle is not too low
• ensure the surrounding of the kettle is clear, at least in an area of radius
0.3m; dealing with products nearby the kettle may easily lead to its
incidence by occasional touching
• do not touch the exterior of the kettle except the insulated handle when
there is boiling or hot water inside for avoiding scalding
• never place the kettle on a hot surface
Never repair the kettle by yourself in case of any problem. Take it
back to the dealer or Certified Service Centre.
