NotE:

The DIN rail mounting kit is

optional and is not included with the
Avocent ACS800 Advanced Console
System. For details on how to purchase
the DIN rail mounting kit, contact your
Vertiv representative.

overview

The DIN rail mounting kit contains
two wall brackets and two DIN clips
for use with 35mm wide DIN rails. Wall
brackets may be used as either a left
or right bracket. DIN clips must be
installed in a matching orientation.

1.  attaching the brackets

to the console system

Remove the screws and brackets
from the ACS800 Advanced
Console System Wall Mount
Accessory Kit. Position each

bracket so its slotted flange is

located along the bottom edge
of the console system. Secure
the mounting brackets to the
console system using two (2) 6-32
panhead screws per bracket.

2.  attaching the DIN clips

to the installed wall bracket

Using the supplied screws, attach
the DIN clips to the bottom sides
of each wall bracket. Be sure to
orient the clips as shown in the
image.

3.  attaching the appliance

to the DIN rail

Position the appliance so that
the top of each DIN clip rests
on the top edge of the DIN rail.
Push the bottom of the appliance

firmly toward the wall until the

lower portion of the DIN clip fully
captures the bottom edge of the

DIN rail. You will hear a  clicking
sound when the DIN clips fully
capture the DIN rail. Ensure each
DIN clip fully captures the DIN rail.

4.  Securing the power cords

Plug the power cord into the
appliance. Slip the supplied cable
retention tie-wrap through the
hardware adjacent to the power
connector. Align the power cord
with the hardware and loosely
capture with the tie-wrap. Ensure

sufficient slack exists between the

plug and the cable attachment
hardware, and cinch the
tie-wrap to secure the power cord.
