8.3 Using Internal, External and Meet-Me Paging
The User can broadcast announcements to other stations
and/or external speakers. Stations are assigned to one or
more of the
Internal Page Zones
. The system has two
External Page Zones
that can be connected to external
speakers.
If the desired Page Zone is busy, the User can elect to be
recalled when their turn comes in the queue. Users can also
request a paged party answer the Page using
Meet-Me Paging
.
In this case, the paged party may answer the page from any
phone in the system by dialing the Meet-Me code.
To make a page:
Lift the handset,
Dial the desired Page zone,
If assigned, after page warning tone, make announcement.
To answer a Meet-me-Page:
Lift the handset.
Dial 544

8.4 Push-To-Talk (PTT) Page
LDP-9000 Series Phones can be assigned as a member of one
or more of the
system‘s nine Push-To-Talk (PTT) page groups.
Users separately log-in or log-out of any one or all PTT groups
to which the phone is assigned. Once logged in, place or
receive one-way page announcements to/from other users who
are logged in to the same PTT group.
To log-in to a PTT group:
Dial #0,
Dial the desired PTT group number (1-9 or 0 for all
groups),
To log-out of the PTT group(s):
Dial #0, the PTT Log-in/out code,
Press the * key.
