• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer or separate remote control system
• This appliance is intended to be used in households or similar
environments such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in workplaces, shops, offices and similar
working environments
- By clients in hotels, motels, bed and breakfast and other residential
style types of environments
• Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance disconnect the contact
grill from the mains supply
• Only use the Release buttons when machine has cooled down
• Do not use the contact grill near the edge of a bench or table during
operation
• When using the contact grill provide adequate space above and on all
sides for air ciruclation
• Do not place the contact grill on any surface that may be affected by heat.
The use of a heat resistant mat is recommended on these surfaces
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use
• Do not place anything on top of the contact grill when the lid is closed,
when in use and when stored
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety

1. Slide the Lock Clip
along the side arm to
the Open position and
then lift up the top plate
2. Turn on the temperature dial to between 1 (low),
2 (medium), 3 (high), and 4 (super high)
3. Turn on the timing dial in 1 minute intervals from 5 to 30
minutes, 5 minute intervals are indicated on the dial. The
heating and timer lights will turn on
4. Place the food to be cooked towards the rear of the
bottom plate and close the top plate for even cooking
5. The timer bell will chime and turn off automatically when it
reaches zero minutes and both the timer and heating lights
will go out. You may manually turn the timer dial to zero to
instantly turn off the timer and heater
6. Once the contact grill has cooled down you can take out
the drip tray from the front of the machine for cleaning
7. Use the Release buttons on the machine head and dial
face to separate the cooking plates from heating elements
for further cleaning
