Assembly
4.1 Frame
Position the base frame in front of you facing
forwards. Hold the backrest on the side at the
armrest screws (in doing this, the armrests
should hang down) and guide the back tubing
into the tube openings provided on the base
frame. Turn the locking screws until they are
tight.
The locking screws must be released,
otherwise it may not be possible to insert the
back tubing properly.
Check that the back tubes are not jammed or
skewed and that they are pushed in fully.
4.2 Armrests
You can now Place the armrests in the
receivers provided on the base-frame, by
rotating the armrests on their screw fixings, in
a curve to the front from behind the backrest.
4.3 Footrests
The footrest receivers are located on the front
frame tubes of the toilet chair.
1. Fold the footplates open.
2. Place the footrests from the side into the
two guide bolts and swing inwards until
they lock in place. If this does not happen
immediately, try again while gently
pressing the retaining mechanism (inner
side of footrest hanger).
3. Using the Velcro® fastening, the calf strap
can be fitted at the desired position.
4.4 Seat cushion
To place the seat cushion in the correct
position, fit the guide pin between the
commode seat and its hand grip (at the back).
4.5 Toilet bucket
The toilet bucket can be pushed below the
seat from the back, with or without its cover.

Usage
5.1 Brakes
!
Do not operate the brakes with your
hands
– risk of injury.
Before getting onto or off the toilet chair, the
parking brakes must be applied to the rear
castors. The brakes are applied by pushing
down the silver brake lever with your foot.
5.2 Toilet bucket
•
Remove the bucket before transporting the
chair.
•
Remove and empty the bucket every time
after use.
