Shipping and storage
The shipping and storage of the rollator
should happen according to the technical
specifications in §7. Make sure that the
rollator is stored dry.
Provide sufficient covering or packaging to
protect the rollator from rust and foreign
bodies (e.g. salt water, sea air, sand, dust).
Make sure no objects are stored on or against
the rollator to prevent damage.
4
Assembly and adjustments
Risk of injuries
Assemble the rollator completely before
adjusting its height.
4.1
Assembly
4.1.1
Assembly of front-wheel frame
1. Unfold base frame (18).
2. Place the base frame on ground or table,
with the oval tubes flat on the surface.
3. Take front-wheel frame (8) and insert both
tube ends in the protruding, round tubes of
the base frame. Make sure that the wheel
support (w) is on the inside of the base
frame.
Figure 1: Front wheel frame, inserted
4. Adjust the tube length of the front-wheel
frame (8) by sliding the tubes in/out.
5. Check on each side, whether the holes of
inner and outer tubes match.
Figure 2: Fastener pin, inserted
6. Insert fastener pin (7) in
the hole of the height
adjustment. Make sure
that the pin is completely
inserted; a click is heard
when fastener clip clasps
the tube.
7. Repeat this for the other frame tube.
8. Check the tube length at left and right side.
If the length differs, remove the fastener
pin at one side and adjust the length
according to step 4, 5 and step 6.
4.1.2
Assembly of rear wheels and
handgrips
Risk of damage
Prevent brake cables from being folded.
Wheel supports with rear wheels
1.
Turn the base frame until the front-frame
tubes (round) are at the bottom, with the
front-wheels touching the surface.
Figure 3: Combined parts
2. Take one of the combined
parts with rear wheel,
handgrip
and
braking
cable.
3. Before assembly, check if
rear wheel (9) and brake (10) will be
located on the outside of the oval frame
tube. If this is not the case, use this wheel
support at the other side of the base frame.
Figure 4: Silvery push button
4. Press and hold the small, silvery push
button (16), see figure 4.
5. Insert the wheel support in the protruding,
oval tube of base frame.
6. Slide the wheel support in/out until push
button (16) pops out of the adjustment
hole.
7. Press the push button again and slide the
wheel support to the desired length.
8. Repeat this for the second wheel support
(of combined part). Make sure that left and
right tube lengths are the same.
9. Make sure that both tubes are well
secured.
