Password Protection

For security reasons, certain transactions (VOID, REFUND 

and DEMO) are password protected, requiring entry of the 

Manager Level password to initiate. You have the option 

of removing the password requirement or creating up to 4 

levels of passwords.

Changing password protection is done through the 

Configuration Menu

1.   From the Main Menu, press

 – Do not change the Master Terminal 

Password without securing it in a safe place. If you 

accidentally LOCK the terminal and do not have its 

password, you will be required to return the terminal for 

reprogramming.

Customized Invoice Number

The terminal automatically prints an invoice number on 

each receipt. If you prefer, you can activate the feature to 

enter your own invoice number, up to 7 digits long, that 

references /matches an in-house receipt. You can activate 

this feature through the Setup menu in 

Configuration

Demo Mode

This feature places the terminal into a demonstration 

mode that allows you to train and/or test without actual 

communications with the host. Before entering DEMO 

Mode, the terminal batch must be clear. 

It is recommended 

that this feature remain password protected.

You can access Demo Mode through the 

Configuration 

Menu.

1.  From the Main Menu, press

This function prints the last customer copy or any receipt.

Locking the Terminal Keyboard

The terminal keyboard can be locked to prevent 

unauthorized use. To unlock the terminal, the Manager level 

password must be used. Once locked, the Manager Level 

password must be entered to complete any transaction.
