INSTALLATION
ONDA VF lamp must be installed between 1.8m and
3m height, keeping an average minimum distance
of 20cm from ceilings and 50cm from walls. Always
install the device as far as possible from objects
that could divert or impede the correct discharge of
smoke: in this way, an optimal propagation of smoke
is guaranteed. Moreover, it is only allowed installation
on the wall, with the hole for smoke discharge
pointing downwards (see picture on the side). Before
closing the cover, make sure that the smoke capsule
is properly located and fixed with the designated
cable tie.
CAUTION: BURN HAZARD. Once the smoke capsule has been connected to the electronic circuit, do not stand on the area directly hit by
smoke discharge. It is therefore advised to perform all connections and tests while smoke capsule is disconnected.
INSTALLATION IS FORBIDDEN IN ROOMS WHERE THE SMOKE GENERATED COULD COME INTO DIRECT CONTACT WITH FOOD.
INSTALLATION IS FORBIDDEN IN ROOMS OCCUPIED BY PEOPLE OR ANIMALS UNABLE TO EVACUATE.
During discharge, the smoke could emit a few grams of dust. However, this light dust do not damage things nor people.

220V TERMINAL BLOCK CONNECTION
ATTENTION
: PROCEED TO THE NECESSARY WIRING BUT GIVE ELECTRICAL
SUPPLY TO ONDA VF ONLY AFTER BATTERY CONNECTION
Mains connection must respect the installation norms in force in the Country of reference. In
particular, as indicated in the current regulations, an automatic overcurrent circuit breaker with
high interruption power (1500A) has to be located upstream with respect to the connection to
the terminal block of the device. Connect 230Vac 50Hz mains cable to the dedicated terminal
block respecting phase and ground wires order, as shown in the picture. The terminal block is
equipped with a T630mA fuse.
THE PRODUCT TURNS ON ONLY IF SUPPLIED BY 220V. IF ONDA VF IS OFF AND IS ONLY CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY, THE
PRODUCT WILL NOT FUNCTION.
