INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
• Insert 4 AA 1.5V batteries in the compartment of the Velvetisse® unit.
• Choose the attachment you want to use and place it on the Velvetisse® unit. If you want to
change attachments, simply remove the attachment on the unit and place the other attachment
on the unit.
• Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on.
• Press the same button to turn the unit off.
How to use Velvetisse® ATTACHMENTS
1. Hair-removal attachment
Ideal for easy and painless removal of unwanted hair and to exfoliate
the skin at the same time. The result is soft, smooth skin with no
unwanted hair. It’s perfect for using on the legs and arms.
Before use, follow these instructions:
• Choose a small area of skin on the face or another sensitive area to test the product and wait
24 hours to make sure your skin is not irritated.
• Make sure the skin is clean and dry and the area to be treated is free of lotions, cosmetics, etc.
• The device works best if the hair is no longer than 0.5 cm.
• Make sure the surface of the applicator is clean and dry.
• Slight redness may appear in sensitive areas where hair has been removed. To reduce redness
or irritation, clean the skin with plenty of cold water. If redness persists, consult your doctor.
• It is normal for your skin to look white or greyish after use. This is the result of skin exfoliation
and will go away after applying moisturizer.
• Do not use Velvetisse® on your head. Men should not use the device on their beards.
• Do not use Velvetisse® if you have a pre-existing skin problem, such as burns, open sores or
if you have diabetes. If you have any questions, consult your doctor about the suitability of using
this product.
• Do not apply too much pressure when removing hair, as this may cause skin irritation or
abrasion.
• No not use for a long time in the same area to avoid skin irritation.
Move your Velvetisse® with the hair-removal pad on your skin with a clockwise movement until
all the unwanted hair has been removed.
* The hair-removal pads wear down with use and must be changed. To do
so, remove the worn pad and replace it with a new adhesive pad.
2. Callus-removal attachment
This attachment is ideal for removing calluses on your feet the
effective, painless way.
Before use, follow these instructions:
• Do not touch the pad while it is operating.
• Before using, make sure the pad is in perfect condition.
Any bent, broken or damaged part could cause damage to the skin.
• DO NOT use the attachment if the steel pad is rusty or is broken,
as it may cause injury.
• Use this attachment only in areas with dry skin or calluses on the feet. Do not use on callus-
free skin.
