AREC.X.
The
AREC.X
model is designed for general use and for all applications that require a
set stirring speed and heating plate temperature.
Safety instructions:
Before using the unit please carefully read the operating manual supplied
with the apparatus.

Do not dispose this equipment as urban waste
In order to prevent possible risk of electric shocks, fire and personal injury when the
unit is being used, basic safety measures must always be taken, including:
•
The heating plate can reach a temperature of up to 540°C. Care must be
taken during the heating phase and also when the appliance is switched off as
it takes time to cool down.
•
The magnetic fields are active on magnetic and metallic parts (magnetic
supports, CDs, floppy discs, cardiac stimulators, magnetic cards).
Keep these items away from the magnetic stirrer plate and the magnetic stir
bars.
•
The stirrer must not be used:
-
in hazard areas
- in
bain-marie
-
to stir combustible liquids that have a low combustion temperature
•
The vessel must be smaller in diameter than the ceramic plate to prevent any
risk of tipping over.
•
If the heating function is used the vessel must be made of a suitable material
to withstand the foreseen temperature – the use of Pyrex vessels is
recommended.
•
The following precautions must be taken before using the instrument:

position the instrument on a level surface.
-
position the instrument at least 30 cm from the wall
-
an operator must be present at all times when the instrument is in use
•
The liquid must not come into contact with the electric power cable or with the
electrical parts inside the instrument.
•
Check that the power supply corresponds to the rating plate on the rear of the
unit and distant from the heating plate.
