Network Backup
You can easily use the licensed software AP to backup the recorded files to PC and playback the backup videos. For
detailed operation, refer to “
10.f. Licensed Software AP
”.
8. Operation
a.
Recording
The DVR offers three recording modes: manual record, event recording, and timer record. If power is off accidentally,
recorded video files will still be stored in the HDDs. The DVR will return to the original recording status after the
power has been restored.
1.
MANUAL RECORDING (continuous recording): Recording is initiated by manually pressing the “REC” button,
indicated by “
●
”.
2.
EVENT RECORDING (triggered by motion or external alarm): When this function is activated, the recording is
triggered by motion or external alarm and indicated by “ ” and “ ”.
3.
TIMER RECORDING (scheduled time): Recording is scheduled by the timer and is indicated by “
TIMER
RECORD
”.
NOTE:
When the HDDs are full under O/W recording
mode, previous recorded files may be overwritten without
further warning notices.
