Note that actual screen icons might differ slightly from the ones shown above.
Quick Menu Bar
Note:
Only available when USB mouse is connected.
Move the mouse pointer to the left of the screen to extend the quick menu bar and show the functions:
Open channel switch panel.
Show playback control panel.
Zoom-in mode (select desired channel first before entering zoom mode).
Select audio channel (live mode only live channels can be selected).
Enter PTZ mode and show PTZ control panel.
Recording
1.
Check whether the camera(s) is (are) properly connected and a HDD is present inside the device.
2.
If the auto-recording and pre-alarm functions are enabled, the device will start recording images.
o
By default, the recording icon (
) is displayed.
o
If the motion or alarm detection is activated and a motion or alarm is detected, the motion (
) resp. alarm (
) icon is
displayed.
o
If timer recording is enabled, the timer recording icon (
) is displayed.
o
By default, the device is in HDD overwrite mode and the icon (
) is displayed.
Playback
Make sure the control panel is not locked and press the PLAY button on the control panel or use the quick menu bar to open
the playback control panel:

Note:
There must be at least 8192 images of recorded data for playback to work properly. If not, the device will stop
playback. For example, if the IPS is 30, the recording time should be at least 273 seconds (8192 images / 30 IPS) for the
playback to work properly.
Increase or decrease the playback speed using the fast forward (
) and fast rewind (
) buttons. Click once to get 4x
speed forward/backward, click twice to get 8x speed, etc. Maximum speed is 32x.
Press the pause button (
) to pause playback.
